The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County invites you to our next History on Tap on Thursday, April 24 at 6:30pm at Hopkinsville Brewing Company for a special program by Taylor Hayes about Dr. Eugene Poole, Jr.
Hopkinsville native Dr. Eugene Poole, Jr. is an architect and certified project construction manager who oversaw the restoration of the U.S. Capitol dome in Washington, D.C. In addition to his extensive resume as an architect, Dr. Poole is also an ordained minister, former professor of religion and philosophy, and a talented tapestry and quilt artist. Join Taylor Hayes, president and CEO of the Christian Chamber of Commerce, for an exploration of the life and career of this most remarkable local man.
History on Tap is a free series that seeks to share local history in a relaxed, fun setting. Programs are typically held on the last Thursday of the month at 6:30pm at Hopkinsville Brewing Company.
